Virtual Somatic Psychotherapy

Heal your past, Thrive in your present and Dream into your future

About Lindsay

I’m passionate about guiding intelligent, kind, empathic women, men & non-binary clients to heal past wounds, thrive in the present and dream into a future of satisfying relationships with self, others and the outside world.

I am a white-bodied, queer cis woman of Alsatian, French and German descent living and working in beautiful Washington state, on the ancestral lands of the Lummi, Nooksack and Samish peoples. I offer virtual somatic psychotherapy services to clients who are in Missouri and Washington states as a licensed clinical social worker.

Working together,

we’ll explore your nervous system and your attachment system to create a felt-sense of safeness, security, connection and belonging in your body.

Clients describe me as warm, compassionate, wise and deeply supportive.

My approach with somatic psychotherapy is grounded in the practice of orienting to the wisdom and brilliance of your body through the lens of your nervous system: your need for safety and survival and your attachment system: your need for love, connection and belonging.

Working with your body, you don’t get stuck in your head repeating unhelpful stories or narratives that keep you looping in pain or suffering and out of the present moment.

Instead together we’ll explore areas of sadness, fear, numbness or confusion with gentle curiosity, compassion and loving presence — and transform it into ease, peace, confidence and clarity as you step into your new life chapter.

Who I work with:

I work with sensitive women, men and non-binary clients who want more than traditional talk therapy — you’re ready to work with your body to heal your past wounds and relational traumas

so you can create loving boundaries, fulfilling connection and joy you dream of with yourself and others.

My clients tend to be highly intelligent, kind, sensitive and empathetic caregivers, creatives, students, therapists, healers, entrepreneurs, teachers and planners here to make change in big and small ways.

How I work:

I strive to be intersectional in practice, informed by an intersectional feminist, anti-racist and decolonial therapeutic lens. I draw from several treatment modalities, including:

Sessions:

Fee for service is $175 private pay for 50 minutes psychotherapy session via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform (like Zoom).

I am not paneled through insurance. However, I offer a monthly Superbill that you may submit for Out-Of-Network reimbursement given your insurance plan. Contact your insurance company to find out your OON benefits.

Please note, that due to the nature of virtual therapy and relational attachment trauma healing, I am unable to accept clients who are actively suicidal, self harming, experiencing psychosis, or needing coping skills-based therapy.
